Dems Beg for ObamaCare Extension
Representatives Sander Levin (D-MI), Jim McDermott (D-WA), and Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) all urged President Obama to grant a special opportunity for people to still sign-up for ObamaCare since the last day to sign-up was Sunday. Their reasons were because their constituents who did not sign-up for healthcare didn't know that they will be taxed $325 or 2% or their income, which ever is higher, of course.

Since both the subsidies and penalties of the health care law are administered through the tax system, some experts have urged Obama to permanently schedule sign-up season to over-lap with tax filing season.

Announced today, some people, however, who had computer glitches and technical issues, now have until next Sunday, February 22, to sign up for healthcare online. Approximately 500,000 people were unable to sign-up.

In Washington state, many people did not realize that they will be fined if they do not have health insurance, so they were granted extended time to sign-up as well.

What is the point of a deadline? And it's amazing how so many people now are learning that they will be fined for not having healthcare - I mean taxed.

And the federal government, of course, must give people extended time because of "computer trouble." After all, the same happened to Lois Lerner.
