It’s Not Just Obama Who Doesn’t Love America…

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani caught fire for his comments about President Obama.
“I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the president loves America.” Giuliani said at a private dinner in Manhattan. Immediately those on the left jumped down the former Mayor’s throat attacking him for telling it like it is.

He’s right. It’s not just President Obama, but Democrats and establishment politicians on both sides that do not love America.

Let me explain.

The Founding Fathers of this great country believed in the Lockean ideas of “Life, Liberty and Property.” Now some liberal will most likely come along at this part of the debate and try to dispute this, when they do, I re-route their ignorant behinds to the Declaration of Independence. This normally works. The Founders were individualists. These principles were what men fought and died over and that ultimately led to the creation of the United States of America, the individual’s control over their own life and freedom from tyrannical state rule.

Yet, Democrats hold a different philosophy. With principles rooted in the Communist Manifesto, those on the left would prefer to see certain individualistic notions suppressed for the “common good.” We hear President Obama clamor about how entrepreneurs “didn't build that” on their own, a quote which he stole from radical leftist and Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA). Bernie Sanders (I-VA) is a self-identified “European Democratic Socialist” and would love to implement Scandinavian style reforms here in the U.S. Democrats in the past have come out in support of “universal” programs like universal healthcare, universal housing, universal Pre-K, etc. The New Deal programs themselves were radical, distant ideas that would have scared the living hell out of the Founders. Redistribution policies, state sanctioned price and wage controls and a radical, political Supreme Court, Democrats have a history of toying with the American Constitution to fit their agenda.

Establishment Republicans are to blame for this as well. Over and over again we have seen a federal government grow in size threatening our liberty and our freedom. Aspects of the Patriot Act, special tax breaks for those at the top, the printing of ridiculous amounts of fiat money, the creation of new federal bureaucracies, and a failure to tackle the status quo, Republican Establishment politicians have helped contribute to the mess we’re in today. With $18 trillion in debt and over $127 trillion in unfunded liabilities our spending is just one example of the abandonment of our values. Both parties are to blame for a bloated federal government that threatens our liberties and freedom today.

It’s just that Democrats are more blatant.

Does Obama believe in American Exceptional-ism? I don’t know. Democrats and Establishment politicians who care about keeping their seat more so than defending principles. Politics is a nasty game. It deals with values. With our values detailed in two documents back in 1776 and 1789, those who look to change, circumvent or revise those principles do not love what America stands for.
